Depends on what you're doing, in gangs it's not a coincidence that geddon's end up on top of most kill mails. They do very good damage and combine that with the fact that they have a great optimal and can start zaping as soon as the FC gives a name (where a bthron often has to MWD up to the target).
Apoc's cap bonus allows for it to be a pretty good tank but I prefere a gank geddon to a tank 9 times outta 10. Megathron is a great solo BS and small gang bs (less than 5 ppl).

Kali is going to change things so drastically, I can't predict which family of ships will be strongest. Midslots took a big nerf from ECM and now there is more balance between mids and lows. Lows also got a boost because an rcuII + damage mods + damage rigs is gonna be ludicris.
Gallente are getting hit pretty hard since ECM in a domi is going to be less powerful. Battles will take longer b/c of the more HP we all get which helps blasters since a smaller % of the fight will be occuring while we are trying to get into range.
Bthron is going to do insane dps, then again, imagine a pulse geddon with 3 rate of fire rigs and 3 heatsinks.... zomgbbq.
Rokh will be pretty powerful in fleet vs fleet fights though. Not sure if we will be able to hit out to 245km with other ships very well although it's possible with rigs (remember the range penalty on t2 ammo).

2 words: stacking penalities. The ROF rigs get that of a 4th, 5th and 6th heatsink.
Are you sure rigs get stacking penalties from modules? I didn't think that would be the case since they are not modules and the stacking penaltiy warning only mentions other modules (although rigs didn't exist when the added the description)
If the stacking penalties from modules apply to rigs? I wonder why dmg rigs cost so much calibration and penalize grid, it's much more effecient to use a dmg mod than a dmg rig and if they get stacking penalties from each other, I don't see them getting used by anyone.

Also reguarding rigs, I noticed since the patch that for dmg rigs or rate of fire rigs, they take 200 calibration for the t1 version. So a t1 ship can either fit 2 t1 dmg rigs or 1 t2 dmg rig. If you use 2 t1 dmg rigs, you have to leave your 3rd rig slot empty since you're all outta calibration pts.
Havent tested stacking penalties yet since ... nobody has any rigs!
